LIGHTNIN paved the way in the early 1950's with it's High Density Storage Tower Design, now an industry standard. In the mid 1980's, LIGHTNIN introduced the A312 hydrofoil impeller. The A312 hydrofoil impeller is a highly efficient laser designed impeller for pulp and paper duty, producing 30% more flow for the same power or a 50% power savings for the same flow as compared to other impellers currently used in the pulp and paper market.
Today, LIGHTNIN offers a wide variety of side and top entering mixers. LIGHTNIN's VSA Pillowblock Agitators offer the ease of installation and maintenance of a pillow block agitator with the process benefits of the A312 impeller. LIGHTNIN has several top entry gear driven units to choose from, depending on the power/torque requirements for the job. A510 and A312 impellers may be selected depending on the application. In addition, LIGHTNIN also offers static mixers for rapid blending and mixing pulp slurries between 3.0 - 10.0 %BD consistency.
